The Department of Psychology ,as A Separate Entity, Came Into Being in the Year 1973 Bea Begin the Name of Applied Psychology Whith has Now Been Replaced by the Department of Educational Psychology .Before then ,it Functioned as aSub _Department to the Faculty of Education ,whith a Role Limited to Serving other College Departments.Having Attained its Position as A Full_Fledged Autonomous Department.
